Permanent Magenet Shaker 489 N Sine Force Peak
The 455 offers customers a higher force for laboratory testing. The shaker can be used as velocity transducers or high speed actuators and in a range of medical and veterinary applications. Also the V455 is ideally suited for use in universities and research establishments to investigate the dynamic behaviour of structures and materials, fatigue and resonance testing.

The 455 shaker incorporates a lightweight moving armature which have been optimised to provide the smallest mass with a wide frequency range. Polypropylene flexures are bonded to the armature to provide axial support for the armature and test load as well as providing lateral and rotational restraint. The vibration generators body can be mounted into a cast trunnion frame (optional) which will permit adjustment of the axis of vibration through a range of 90 degrees. For other applications the vibration generator can be rigidly bolted to a suitable structure using threaded holes in the base of the body. With the LDS power amplifier PA1000 the model 455 achieves 489N (110 lbf) peak sine thrust.
